Prayer

We are a praying church and although we all have our individual prayer times, we love to pray together. Here at Cornerstone, we have an intercessory prayer team but everyone is at some time or another part of a prayer session. The Prayer team at CCC encourages all members to corporately seek God regarding individual needs, dreams and visions.

Cornerstone's mission is upheld by prayer. The Luchi story is a testimony to answered prayer. The youth group was introduced to partnership with the Holy Spirit through prayer on their Alpha day away.

"Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him."

Prayer Meetings

Connect groups
Our Connect groups meet each month for fellowship and prayer.

Sunday morning prayer
The prayer team are available after every Sunday service for prayer, encouragement and support.

Monday evenings
Intercessory prayer every Monday from 8.00-9.00pm

Wednesday lunchtime prayer - 12 noon - 12.30pm
We hold a half hour lunchtime meeting at church, as well as asking those who can't attend to pray each Wednesday in their lunch breaks.

Men's prayer breakfast
Men meet every other month for a Saturday prayer breakfast.

Half night of prayer
Quarterly prayer and worship event. 8.00pm - midnight.
